We are proud of the work we do on program design because our mindset is to solve the problem at hand, not to sell our program. If some of our training fits the need then we are thrilled to provide it but, if not, we are excited to help design something that works for the client and meets their need. We are also very open to collaborating with other providers and consultants who are experts in their field to give the client the best of the best.
The Essence of Leadership
The Essence of Leadership program utilizes our proprietary workbook which focuses predominantly on the individual as a leader. The program takes the participant through a journey of self-reflection exploring questions like:
- What are my core values?
- What qualifies me to be a leader?
- What is my personal vision?
- Participants learn and utilize a continuous improvement model for themselves that they can also apply to their teams or organizations.
- They also develop a personal vision and action plan and will walk away with clarity of purpose and what they can and should focus on relative to their development, starting with a 90-day plan.
- We believe that being aware of one’s strengths and personal vision will enable him or her to inspire those they lead by being a model of clarity and purpose.
Facilitator Training is the flagship course of Berkshire Group and is a critical element in the personal and professional development of anyone in a position that requires organizing groups of people to accomplish goals, plan projects, solve problems or have productive meetings of any kind.
What participants will receive is not just theory. This material has been tried and proven in the real-life operations of large and small organizations. Our training is effective and successful where it matters most: where people engage people. Good Facilitation skills dramatically increase the productivity and effectiveness of any interaction, whether in a group or team meeting, a workshop or even a person to person dialogue.
Our goals are to teach participants the role of facilitation, give a set of proven facilitation tools and provide training in the use of those tools. These tools include practical techniques for developing supportive environments, dealing with dysfunctional behavior, developing consensus and ownership.
In this training program, participants will:

- Learn the cycle of facilitation that can be applied in all settings
- Develop techniques for preparing for both the content and the process components of meetings

Group Problem Solving Training
Problem Solving: A Journey. This is one of the core courses in Berkshire Group’s leadership development program. This is a course on HOW to facilitate the identification of strategically significant issues or opportunities and to facilitate a group through a structured process to make changes in a constructive and efficient way. Competency in facilitation is critical to the Problem Solving process so we strongly recommend Berkshire Group Facilitator Training prior to taking the Group Problem Solving training.
Continuous improvement is a fundamental attitude and practice of every forward thinking successful business or organization.
Problem solving is a blend of art and science. This course will provide you, as a leader, with an effective Continuous Improvement model and a Problem Solving process. You will be trained in a variety of techniques and given tools to utilize within the process. That is the science of Problem Solving. You will also be given the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques in solving a real problem, thus starting on the path of the art of Problem Solving.

Mentoring & Coaching
We help leaders develop their potential on an individual basis by providing personalized coaching based on the needs of the individual and their and situation. This can be a one-time session or an ongoing process.
